What users at my Institution insist as very useful is the functionality of
browsing over the results of everyone's gene expression studies, so "what
does this gene did in all experiments we have?". When data analysis was
performed somewhere else (not within BASE) this would imply to upload
processed results possibly as some extra element in the BASE structure
(equivalent to Raw Bioassay) which I assume must be quite complicated or
simply as annoations to reporters. I can think of how to do the latter
option (actually I have done this already "manually") but not preserving the
link to the information for the corresponing Experiment (samples, extracts,
etc...). Maybe there are some more ideas/experiences out there about this
issue?
