Then, I read the following posts and find out that you guys were referring to a feature that ALREADY exists in BBEdit!!! And I never noticed it! Almost _every_ time I create a new document in BBEdit, the Command-N shortcut is followed by a Command-V shortcut. The 'New File (with clipboard)' command is so handy that I didn't think twice to assign it the Command-N shortcut in the "Set Menu Keys" dialog box.
