Turning off wrap wasn't an option on the book-sized file I needed to edit,
but I discovered that wrapping worked fast if it was set to wrap to the page
guide rather than window width. At least I think that was true; I just tried
it on a moderately large file and couldn't see the difference. But I'm using
an Intel processor Macbook, so maybe that's masking the difference.
