An application requires an implementation of a Markdown parser before it can convert from Markdown to HTML. Some applications have them built in, others don’t. I checked Safari and Chrome: neither browser will open a Markdown file. Have you read the Markdown project web page? It’s at daringfireball.net/projects/markdown and contains information about Markdown implementations. Todd -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
