        Edit the file /etc/default/kbd and set the line:

#KEYBOARD_ABORT=enable

        to:

KEYBOARD_ABORT=disable

then run "/usr/bin/kbd -i" to change the current (default) value.

or you can try "/usr/bin/kbd -a disable" (never actually done that,
can't say if it works properly or not)
