"The *NIX system
is rock stable, highly reliable and i have always admired the jokers who created
it. They have set standards which every OS Vendor can look up at and try
to improvise their own systems. wat irritates is that these
guys never look at MS with the same view. Positive criticism is definitely
good. But criticism, just for the heck of it(and the fact that MS IS working
towards being recognised as a secure system is threatening their very
existence), is pretty stupid and useless..."

one correction on fact here , we
will talk when we meet. "admired the jokers who created
it." -- these guys were and are always the best, most of them are gods of
programming,

    dennis ritchie -
creator of C and co programmer for the original
unix
    brian kernighan
- co creator of unix
    ken thompson -
hacker guru extrodinaire and the true mind behind the inception of the unix
system
    rob pike - x,
inferno, sam, p9

i would always respect them,
always.
however these are not the people
who make any noise, they appreciate ms for their strengths like true hackers. i
am no one to even speak of them with such authority.they created unix and they
left unix many years to go work on another operating system, one far greater
than unix because they knew unix was flawed by fundamental desing for the new
age. they called this OS Plan9. http://www.cs.bell-labs.com/sys/doc/9.html
