Oh, your good so far, that's something with 4.16.x-rcX, just ignore it for now.. You should be able to add: uboot_overlay_addr0=/lib/firmware/BB-I2C2-PCF8523-00A0.dtbo to /boot/uEnv.txt now and reboot..
