Thanks. Since you have a Mac and I don't, why don't you add that
section? I wouldn't know what to say.
I will work on formatting etc. once you have the raw material in.
I don't use jconsole much either, nor Linux at all, nor Android; so I
need subject-matter experts in those areas to add or correct anything
related to those platforms.

I wonder if you might add a small sub-section just below the one entitled
"What is installed" named "What is NOT installed"? In that section you
might mention the packages in the next section, and the Mac's required
"install 'all'" for example. And while I am mentioning the Mac, I thought
that the JFE jqt was not installed on the Mac and that jconsole had to be
executed after the system install in order to install jqt. I am probably
wrong about this last idea but that is my memory.
