Some of the old installation material was out of date and has been
discarded.

The new Quick Start instructions are very simple (and Mac should be like
Windows).

Otherwise, the detailed instructions are separate for each platform. This
should be easier to follow than the old instructions that tried to describe
all platforms together.

It is the layout that I am most concerned about, and I hope that this
layout is acceptable. Otherwise everyone is free to update the instructions
on each page.
