J602bbeta supports multiple users without modifying the profile.ijs
already.  

The only thing I had to do to get it to work for multiple users (on my
home machine) was to move the "jsoftware - j602" shortcuts folder in the
Start Menu from my user to "All Users".

Installing the shortcuts to "All Users" as a default is probably not a
great idea because it would prevent users without admin rights from
installing J (unless it was a selectable option).

I don't think that your suggestion in itself solves the issue I raised
of where the user's folder should be installed by default.
