As I tried to get across in my last post, I think j602bbeta is actually very good at making multiple-user installations very easy - copy the Start Menu shortcuts folder to All Users and you're golden. No editing of shortcuts or profile.ijs required! And if you need to edit profile.ijs , its simplification and the changes in nomenclature of PROFILE to BINPATH etc, also make understanding and editing it much less confusing. The only minor quibble I have is where in the user's data store, the J userdata should be installed (by default) on Windows. I understand however that this might not be easily rectified without getting into OS version detection (which doesn't seem simple), but think that by adding the option to specify the location of userdata at installation, a number of different scenarios (usb, redirected Documents/My Documents folder) could also be handled "out of the box". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
