Bill, I repeated the install and got the same error.
This time I correctly did an install'gtkide' before doing a load'gtkide' because doing the load first evoked an error saying to do the install. But the other results are identical. I am not sure what you mean by "just(ing) starting computer." And while we are revisiting this let me mention another problem.
