Peter, thanks for the quick reply... I will check that new link soon.
The reason for my comment was based on the past history of frequent
beta releases by SD. Even after major releases. Corporate
idiosyncrasies does not equal "conspiracy"... it just means that "new"
rules regarding beta releases "might" be in effect and that it takes
time for those "new" rules to be digested by the "new" joint/combined
company. I also assumed, that after some time for knowledge transfer
and because of the availability of "more" resources that more betas
would be available. I thought that having frequent beta relases was
giving the developers and the SS community constant feedback which
subsequently resulted in more "stable" and frequent releases. But I
could be wrong. For me, the frequency of beta releases was a challange
and believe or not a strange source of joy. Lately, I have not had too
much extra time on my hands to install the betas, but it was nice see
the progress of SD developer in this forum as they added new features
and fixed the bugs on a daily basis. Maybe I'm the only one that misses
this.
