Peter, thanks for the quick reply... I will check that new link soon. The reason for my comment was based on the past history of frequent beta releases by SD. Even after major releases. Corporate idiosyncrasies does not equal "conspiracy"... it just means that "new" rules regarding beta releases "might" be in effect and that it takes time for those "new" rules to be digested by the "new" joint/combined company. I also assumed, that after some time for knowledge transfer and because of the availability of "more" resources that more betas would be available. I thought that having frequent beta relases was giving the developers and the SS community constant feedback which subsequently resulted in more "stable" and frequent releases. But I could be wrong. For me, the frequency of beta releases was a challange and believe or not a strange source of joy. Lately, I have not had too much extra time on my hands to install the betas, but it was nice see the progress of SD developer in this forum as they added new features and fixed the bugs on a daily basis. Maybe I'm the only one that misses this. -- tamanaco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29971 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
