I was thinking the same when I heard the switch of name again. SqueezeBox
Server is a bit of a backward step in clarity, I feel. eg. people talk of a
Transporter, not a SqueezeBox Transporter, so a Transporter that plays music
from a SqueezeCenter makes sense; a Transporter that plays music from a
SqueezeBox Server makes less sense.

I quite liked the change from SlimServer to SqueezeCenter, in that SlimServer
was not a slimmed-down anything, and abbreviated SS was ambiguous (could mean
SoftSqueeze).

SqueezeBox Server is to be abbreviated SS? SBS? SB S?

Perhaps it should be SqueezeboxServer? And the box it runs on can be a
SqueezeboxServer server?
