i think what i am suggesting would be much more intuitive.  it would
closer mimic what a lot of current apps are like.  i haven't seen
anything that is similar to the whacky SBS design.

instead of being a pessimist, why not get on board?  there is a lot of
room for improving my idea, but no one at logitech will consider it as
long as the users fight about it.  it would be better to have consensus
that something needs done, to at least get some movement, so lets start
there since we seemingly have common ground on that point anyway.
