Could you try if it works better with the latest Multi Library
(2.5.3369) which I just released ?

It runs ANALYZE on the multilibrary tables so if that was the issue
this should solve it. I still don't see any performance change with and
without the patch in my own library.

If this doesn't help, does it help if you connect towards the
squeezebox.db and squeezebox-persistent.db files with a SQLite client
and run ANALYZE. Does the patch make difference also after that ?

Which interface do you test the performance in ? Is it the web
interface or some other interface ?

Also if you have the time and you have a specific test installation of
SBS, try with one of the large database dumps I posted about in the
following thread and see if the patch makes difference in that library
in your setup. Note, only do this if you have a specific test setup,
you do NOT want to use these test libraries in your normal SBS setup as
it can create a mess in your TrackStat and Custom Scan data.

The flac50000.zip file contains a random generated FLAC library with
very small FLAC files. Unzip this and point the SBS Music Folder to the
unzipped directory and perform a full rescan and then try how the
browsing performs. This library contains 4080 albums with 49808 songs
and 3322 artists.
