There is no change in performance with the new version. erland;640031 Wrote: > If this doesn't help, does it help if you connect towards the > squeezebox.db and squeezebox-persistent.db files with a SQLite client > and run ANALYZE. Does the patch make difference also after that ? I did run ANALYZE with sqlite3 in Ubuntu server. No improvement. The files already contained tables sqlite_stat1, which are added by ANALYZE. So I think the ANALYZE was already executed on both files. erland;640031 Wrote: > Which interface do you test the performance in ? Is it the web interface > or some other interface ? I use both web interface and Squeezeplay for testing. The web interface is slightly slower (15 seconds vs 12 seconds for the 'Beethoven>piano' test case). BTW the execution of the query causes a CPU load of 100% on my little test server, so hardware differences play a role. erland;640031 Wrote: > Also if you have the time and you have a specific test installation of > SBS, try with one of the large database dumps I posted Will do. At the moment still scanning. I will post results later. If there is anything else I can help testing on your great plug-ins let me know. -- Co1 Co van Winsum ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Co1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34002 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88627 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
