Thanks for those additional details. I don't like "me too!" postings in
general, because pretty often users would make assumptions which are not
true (they can't know all the details). I prefer to have as much
information as possible and draw the assumptions myself.
1. scanning is slow. takes way too long compared to other apps.
Could you please provide the scanning progress information from the
Settings/Information page? It would be interesting to know which step is
consuming most of the scan time.
2. getting a playlist to load to play takes way too long, esp
considering it only loads 500 entries! again other apps much faster.
Heh... guess why it's limited to 500 items by default... yeah, there's
definitely room for improvement. Unfortunately not easy to fix fwiu.
3. just browsing or changing pages in navigation is slow and sometimes
unresponsive.
In the web UI? Can you reproduce cases where it becomes unresponsive?
4. many times server just doesn't seemingly respond to clicks at all.
5. waiting for search results is painful.
Web or player UI? Local music only?
Using: Win7 64 and LMS 7.8 & Duet with ipads and the logitech app, and
