No, I just tested the following:
"This is an albumtitle" (Disc 1 of 2)
"This is an albumtitle" (Disc 2 of 2)
I've set LMS to "treat multi-disc sets as one album", so LMS only lists
"This is an albumtitle"
Changed this to:
"This is NONSE1 an albumtitle" (Disc 1 of 2)
"This is NONSE2 an albumtitle" (Disc 2 of 2)
I did exactly this: change "This is an albumtitle" to "this is an
albumtitle - 1". And it worked as expected.
After a rescan, this results in exactly NO change at all. LMS still only
shows:
"This is an albumtitle"
There was some discussion about not changing the file's timestamp. How
are you dealing with this? Could you please enable debugging for scan.*,
run the same test, and post scanner.log and/or server.log (wherever the
scan was logged). Thanks!
