With our weak currency, and the shipping costs, it works out to a bit more. I paid R650 (Rands) for Kingsburg, which Google's converter tells me is approximately $69 (US). So, the 7 games are closer to $500. Of course, Battlestar Galactica has now been added to that list, taking Kingsburg's recently vacated spot and pushing it back to 7. It's not that bad. As strange as it may sound, I have curbed my purchases and wants significantly over the past 6 months or so and I believe that I will soon be down to purchasing just 3 or 4 games a year. I'm fairly sure of that.
Well, apart from a trip to Australia early next year in which I will be visiting Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. I have to pick up something from a games store in each of those cities. It's become a ritual for me, getting something from an overseas city every I visit. It doesn't have to be anything big though - a small expansion or card game, even just some cool dice. I bought some nice Roman numeral dice in Singapore earlier in the year. Just something to remember the experience. Coudln't find anything in Vietnam though, although I was too busy enjoying the country, it's history, and the incredible people. Man, perhaps I do have a problem. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BGG Down" group.
