Kingsburg - Sure, it's okay for family gaming.  Wouldn't get it to
play with gamers though.  It hit the table a couple of times when it
first came out here and hasn't been seen since.  I'd definitely pass
it up in favor of another game... but you ask about family gaming and
it would be tolerable for that.

BSG - Of course anyone who watches the show will get more out of it.
That's inevitable.  However, such knowledge is not neccessary to enjoy
the game.  This game has been hitting the tables more than once per
gaming session and I'd say only half the players at best have ever
seen the show.  You don't need to understand everything about Cylons
to have fun defending your ship from enemy spacecraft.  Depending on
your family, I'd be hesitant to play this one with them.  The younger
ones will probably have a lot of difficulty with the traitors, both
playing one and finding one.  Since it IS a co-op though, you can
probably herd them in the right direction most of the time so maybe it
wouldn't be a problem.  Still, I'd choose something else for the
family.  BSG is for the gamers.
