Kingsburg is one of my favorite games right now. It plays like a fast, intuitive Euro that cuts straight to the point and doesn't get bogged down by mechanics that can make hard core Euros like Caylus "too crunchy." It's easy to learn, and fun to play if you want to get your Euro fix without alienating newer players or people in your game group who don't have the patience for a longer game.
I have not played BSG yet, but one of my buddies who works for FFG says it's the best game they ever produced. This being said, a different good friend of mine who recently played it says that it was enjoyable until the Cylon is revealed, then you start missing the element of intrigue that made the game fun in the first half. This also being said, I rarely enjoy cooperative games, the exception being Arkham Horror (which I like moreso due to theme than play) and Shadows Over Camelot (which has a lot of great moments and action, but also suffers from the "reveal disappointment factor" as described by my friend). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BGG Down" group.
