I hate to get everybody all riled up, but I think things may have gone from
bad to worse. Last night I was walking down State Street and a major
operation was underway to remove these snow banks. There were bikes parked
in the bike racks that had been buried by plowed snow. Apparently the
mission was to clear this snow. As part of this mission, these bikes were
repeatedly rammed with angry bobcats. I haven't been on State St. today,
but chances are the bike racks may be clear, but the bikes that were there
are now mangled. At least, between Gorham and Johnson. I'm not sure what
other blocks this project might have included.
