Examples: * Today I turned around and left Electric Earth, taking my lunch MONEY elsewhere, because the ONE rack in front of the place was literally 200% filled. * Any parking that assumes you have a cable lock (e.g. "fence" racks) is a big-time marketing DIS-incentive * A perennial favorite 'round here seems to be the practice of mounting parking racks backward, so the usable part of the rack is facing toward a wall or some such. In close second is racks mounted so close to the wall that anything but a standard triangle-frame bike can't be parked there. How hard can this be? Second biggest issue: remembering space limits. Favorite "guide": I usu. have one pannier, plus the laptop bag. When I shop, I use a "hand-basket", to remind me that, if my selections won't fit in it, they probably won't fit in the pannier.
