Darryl, I'll second what others have said. I have panniers all the time, which work great for the picking up a few items, or books at the library, or I'll bungee a pizza to the back rack. But I usually hook up the Burley Nomad trailer about once a week for groceries. At the westside Community Market at Hill Farms, or occasionally the Dane County Farmer's market on the square, or our local CSA pickup. Then there's Sentry, Whole Foods, Brennan's, and Steve's Liquor.
These places are pretty close, have good bike access, and have tasty products. And they have good bike parking. I'll second the excellence of the Nomad. I carried 2 large shrubs from the native plant sale. On Wed, Jun 3, 2009 at 5:58 PM, Darryl Jordan <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All; > I'm looking for suggestions.
