this was Stoughton, but I'm sure there are Madison cops who are just as ignorant and arrogant. I'd suggest that we bring this sign to the attention of Traffic Engineering as well, as I believe they are responsible for putting up signs (and refusing to put them up if not approved by AASHTO (acronym??). I know we've had trouble trying to get the city to put up signs at Russell and Division saying "two way bike path crosses here."
