Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry for starting up two threads. It's the first time I tried Quicksilver, read a lot of good about and now I'm eager to give it a try.
I have never seen the installation screen. When I tried to run the app from the download location the files you paths you described were created in username/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver username/Library/Preferences/com.blacktree.Quicksilver.plist In the first one no plugin folder can be found. Only an empty folder called Shelves. Might the problem be that these files are created in the username/ library folder and not in the HD/library folder? I tried running the app from different locations on my HD, eg the main applications folder and from a folder of my username. Further suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
