Thank you for your replies. Earlier I tried moving the plugins that were already showing away (as this was recommended in another topic) to see if this solved the problem. I deleted these files but now rerunning quicksilver does not seem to make these plugins reappear in Application support/quicksilver/ plugins (I presume that is the location for plugins, as for me the plugin folder is not present anymore)
I tried running the core plugin you mentioned and I see a window appear by quicksilver asking if I want to install the plugin. After clicking on yes, nothing happens. I downloaded the app from the location you mentioned.
