Right, but it seems a bit much to have to overwrite (and it could even be a different version, though we expect it to be the same) your C compiler so you can render a PDF document from XML when there is a native solution (though the current binary-only JDK is an issue in itself). I'll see if I can't work on this a bit, but no promises. I can't see making this change before BLFS-6.3 (timeline coming today for the release cycle). We'll have one more BLFS Editor announced today (after the sysadmin stuff has been completed) so that means there are currently at least seven guys working on BLFS (eight if you count Dan). That should allow us to get a 6.3 out fairly soon. -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.22] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 10:12:00 up 22 days, 1:00, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.03, 0.08 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
