But in this case, my reading of the action (see the reply to Pierre I've just sent) is that "Allow attaching devices to seats" is what allows users logged-in locally and not in the input group to use /dev/input/event* (and whatever modem devices are used by ModemManager). ĸen -- Adopted by dwarfs, brought up by dwarfs.
