Since I first built (B)LFS in 2004 I've always been running on old, salvaged systems, so not wanting to waste precious cycles on foo-foo stuff (like restoring a background when a window changes), I've always used plain Fluxbox windows. Lately I've decided to make some styles, some simple and some WITH backgrounds. I'm making a style-kit package to make that much easier.
Has anybody else been playing around with fluxbox themes? I've got fluxbox-1.3.7 & feh-2.12, but cannot get it to act on the background.pixmap directive in theme.cfg. fbsetbg WILL load the background--I'm even exporting wpsetters=feh in .fluxbox/startup, lest it try IM's display--but I shouldn't have to.
