Is your laptop running a 32-bit system ? I think we all assumed you
were using 64-bit. Note the x86_64 in the Arch link (they have
dropped 32-bit). I don't think anybody else provides a compiled
tarball of i686 gmp-6.1.2.
In theory, you might be able to extract from a cpio archive (using
rpm2cpio and cpio), but I assume you have not compiled cpio so that
approach too would fail. Sorry.
