Hi Sharon, A brief descriptions of CD types: * Data CD: a data CD is a compact disc that contains things such as documents, programs and media files such as mp3's and DAISY books. * Audio CD: an audio CD is a type of compact disc that contains about 70 minutes of audio. * Mixed CD: a mixed CD is a disc which has both types of data: ordinary data such as mp3's and files, as well as CD Audio. Whenever you buy a disc, you are buying an empty, blank disc. Probably the best place to find out CD types would be on the Internet sites such as Wikipedia and Google.
