I'm just curious. You said you installed Windows yourself. Exactly what
happens when you load the installation CD in the DVD drive? Does Narrator
start talking right away? Did you have sighted assistance? I have been
under the impression that you either need sighted assistance to install
Windows or else perform an unattended installation.

Does anyone know if Narrator is available at any point during a Windows 7
install? I thought I heard that Narrator could be turned on about half
way
through a Vista install using Windows + u. Perhaps pressing Alt + n
would
be necessary as well? I have not installed either, so I have no personal
experience.
