I'm a little confused. If Narrator already worked when you turned on your new computer for the first time, wouldn't that indicate that Windows was already completely installed? Don't all new computers come with the OS ready to go? It seems to me that the only reason to installWindows on a new computer would be to install a different version than the preinstalled version, like for example, installing XP on a new machine equipped with Vista. But it sounds like installing Windows is not for the technically challenged or faint of heart like me.
