It's possible that all the emails with the links could have been sent in
plain text. I'm glad to help whenever I can and I'm sure John is too.

i did what you both said and it was indeed set to plain text
i took the check out and went to apply followed by ok
i tried 4 emails that had this link facility but only 1 was able to go
straight to internet explorer
no idea why the others did not respond maybe they were sent in plain text
or
something i know not reason where or why
perhaps someone can shed light on why only 1 of them worked

It would depend on what sounds you get, for example the main system sound
effects go in to the C:\windows\media directory. I would need to research
where the office sounds go.
