Hi Gerald, Well I am using Jaws 4.5 on my old computer with windows XP and internet explorer eight works just fine! windows update down loaded the program on its own because I have windows update set to down load things for my computer automatically. So there for I conclude that windows explorer eight does work with Jaws 4.5 but I am not saying that an earlier version of Jaws other than Jaws 4.5 won't work with internet explorer eight I am just saying that it does work with Jaws 4.5 and Jaws 5.10 because I use Jaws 4.5 and internet explorer eight works just fine! and anyway have you even tried an earlier version of Jaws to back up your statement because if you have tried an earlier version of Jaws for example Jaws 4.5 you would see that it does work with internet explorer eight and that is all I am going to say on this subject so it does not start a war.
