Windows automatic update doesn't know or care which version of JAWS you are
running, and so installed IE 8. Please explain how you access the IE 8 RSS
feed reader using JAWS 4.5.

Jaws 4.5 does work with internet explorer eight because like I said in my
earlier post I am running Jaws 4.5 with windows XP and I have internet
explorer eight and for that matter it also worked with internet explorer
seven.
other wise the automatic update would not have down loaded it to my
computer.
and this time that is definately all I am going to say on this subject.

Yes I have. When I try JAWS 8 with IE 8, I frequently get the dreaded
parent document window . I don't even think IE 7 will work with JAWS 4.5.
