According to FS the latest build of JFW 9 is the earliest that will work with IE 8 and from my experience, I agree with them. Frank

IE 7, let alone IE 8 did not exist when JAWS 4.5 was released. I can guarantee you that many of the features in IE 8 will absolutely not work with JAWS 4.5, such as the RSS feed reader and private browsing. There is a lot more to IE 8 than simply loading web pages. And IE 8 is a klot different than IE 6, the version in effect when JAWS 4.5 was released.
