my fear is that it is getting worse.

I too have had problems with the web with Jaws choosing not to read anything
on the page yet I can see the content.

This is what I try
1. Insert+Esc to refresh Jaws
2. Close Jaws & restart
3. Copy the address Alt+d then Alt+c; Close IE then re-open it and Alt+d
then Alt+v to paste the address I was on
Usually one of the above works before I have to reboot my pc.

I had similar problems using Jaws 9/10 with XP. The problem started
suddenly and I spent months trying to figure it out. When I removed Avast
and installed MSE, the problem stopped and has never returned. If you use
Google as many times a day as I do, I feel your frustration.
Good luck,
John

I am using Jaws 12 and Windows XP.
I am pulling up the Google Home page and 1 of 3 things happen:
1.
Everything works normally.
2.
Jaws tells me there a are no Edit Boxes on the page, ditto buttons etc.
It does allow me to read the useless page though.
3.
It appears to jaws to be totally blank, although a sighted helper says
it looks normal.

combine this with the recurring problem of loss of focus and my sanity is

being challenged.

Any thoughts?
Niam
