I agree, but so many people have complained that they share this problem,
how do we draw their attention to it?

You know, come to think of it, I'm having the same issue with my Verizon
home page. I thought it was some kind of new development and was
considering changing home pages. But then, I went out and came back and
everything worked just fine.
Maybe someone should alert Freedom Scientific about this.
Sooner or later, they usually do find the time to deal with serious issues
like this.

I too have had problems with the web with Jaws choosing not to read
anything
on the page yet I can see the content.
This is what I try
1. Insert+Esc to refresh Jaws
2. Close Jaws & restart
3. Copy the address Alt+d then Alt+c; Close IE then re-open it and Alt+d
then Alt+v to paste the address I was on Usually one of the above works
before I have to reboot my pc.

I do use it a lot.
How would I do what you suggest?

I had similar problems using Jaws 9/10 with XP. The problem started
suddenly and I spent months trying to figure it out. When I removed Avast
and installed MSE, the problem stopped and has never returned. If you use
Google as many times a day as I do, I feel your frustration.
Good luck,
John

I am using Jaws 12 and Windows XP.
I am pulling up the Google Home page and 1 of 3 things happen:
1.
Everything works normally.
2.
Jaws tells me there a are no Edit Boxes on the page, ditto buttons etc.
It does allow me to read the useless page though.
3.
It appears to jaws to be totally blank, although a sighted helper says
it looks normal.
combine this with the recurring problem of loss of focus and my sanity
is
being challenged.
Any thoughts?
Niam
