Hi, Will.
It is more a matter of money. If you have three game companies get 
together to design games and then any prophets that are taken in one 
that one game they design they have to split three ways or more.
If the game groses say $12000 and the devs has to split it that comes to 
$4000 a piece rather than $12000 each.
Also you forget if three game companies merge then what ends up 
happening is you will get less games as a result. The game companies 
will be designing one game rather than three games.
I don't know your age, but I notice you don't seam to understand 
business and economics that well. Smile.
