Unfortunatly, I think we shouldn't fool ourselves. Lucas and paramount would be aggressive in shutting down any software that was made to be sold with their licensed sounds and such without any proper permission or license. The reality of the situation is that they might not care, but would be forced to plug up any, what they might perceive as, a hole. They would have to, in order to prevent opening up any legal problems for themselves. If they are not diligent in protecting their property, it would almost be like they gave permission for any one to go ahead and use it, license free. It sucks all the way around, but there it is.This is what happens when the small dog wants the big dogs bone. Yet, there is an advantage to doing what is right, and perhaps it will pay off in the end. All it takes is patience. In the end, you have to weigh what these big corps might do compared to the chance of getting caught. could these big corps sue you for moneys connected to these games using their products? or would they just tell you to pull the plug on such a product. Either way, it might be best to consider a reworked version using the secondary sounds not connected to these licenses in order to protect your company. In the end, the company is more valuable then being able to hear Picard saying "Make it so" . The game will be just as fun, and there would be no possible big dog breathing down your neck. Just some thoughts. allan
