Not sure why? How's this for a reason: It is, after all, what you use to play the game. So much focus of games for the sighted gamer seems to be the graphics. It is the same for the blind player. Sound is the thing. Of course, there should be other important aspects of a game, too, whether you are seing it or hearing it, such as amount of challenge and a good plot that lend to replay value. For me, an example would be Grizly Gulch. Good sound, but where is the replay value other than the saloon? Then again, there is Aliens in the Outback or Pinball Xtreme. Good sound and good replay value, too.
