Hmmm... That is an interesting thing. Sometimes the snakes would attack, and some time they will be lazy. Of course, they will change there minds from game to game so you won't know if it is a good or bad mood. I'm wondering if not having static gem placement might be a fair way to add randomness. Randomly placing and hiding gems.
