Hi Rob The cheapest form of a circle cutting jig is just a piece of wood with a hole drilled as the centre point with a screw and nut to lock it in position and a nail driven through at the desired diameter with the point of the nail used as a cutting edge. Just revolve it around until you cut through the metal if it becomes dull use another sharp nail. You can get metal cutting blades for a Jig Saw and circle cutting tin snips also nibblers if you have a compressor. Also there are things called trammels which have points both ends which boiler makers use for marking out circles. But for a one off cut try the wood and nail trick. What you did not say is how thick this sheet metal is you are trying to cut. If it is really thin like sheet copper you could use scissors. HTH
