Pulled over, sat a minute and it restarted. About a mile later, stopped at red light, engine died and nothing would make it restart. About to start testing to see why no spark but my choices are. 1. Position senson 2. Speed sensor 3. Cracked cap or rotor 4. Bad rotor Tried swapping a coil and still no start, no spark. The parts guy reverently whispered "You might want to look in the showroom ..there's a new SLR in there ...but it's sold " . Well, I almost cried !! SOLD already ?? How can that be ...?? But let me tell ya , if I had the moolah it WOULD be mine despite its automatic gearbox !! Ah..well ..there IS that moolah bit .....list price on the sticker ?? $465,000 !! Plus $9,000 just for delivery !! ..add in almost 10% sales tax , then think about insurance ....heh !! Just WHO DO you call and say "I got this half-million car to insure ...."? . At least here in mid-south Tenn annual tags are only $24 with no emissions tests so the owner may get off lightly there .. An amazing automobile , but is a VERY large 2 seater , so I doubt it would fit into your garage ...so dont even think about it eh ?? .....but prhaps you ought to take up Country music singing as a sideline ...then you might afford the garage !. Signs in the window said "Sold dont touch " ...but I DID sneak a feel of one of those big fat tahrs and a look at the HUGE ceramic brakes ....pls dont shoot me !! . Bet it's not as nimble in the twisties as my M3 ..but there's some things I'd yield on a little .....hmmnnn . Ah, Perchance to dream eh ??..... Now back to the washing up .
