You can see the specs and the report on it at that web site camcorderinfo.com. It makes good in car footage. I did a wedding with it a few months back for a family friend and the reports back from their friends who have seen it have been that they didn't see the professional videographer at the wedding. They were amazed when told it was a home camcorder. One of the neat things about that Canon line is that it has optical image stabilization. Which is much better than the digital stabilization on most camcorders. I am happy with it and have been for almost a year. I want to replace the timing chain tensioner as I have a little noise coming from the front of the motor. I know it could be the vanos unit but I don't want to replace that until I have to. I see on Pelican parts website there is a piston and spring separate but for later motors there is a single piece unit. Do I need the two pieces or can I update to the later single piece unit?
