A young friend of mine here in mid-south Tenn needs to sell his black
325ix to someone in the snow-belt .It is a decent-looking car that needs
some twiddling to make perfek . He is being brutally honest in his
description so I'll let his words speak for themselves . Fly into
Nashville or Huntsville Ala , drive home anywhere ...Oh incidentally I
am the guy with the stock 15" ix wheels he mentions (he was being polite
I guess ) .

I just got married, and college is in full swing. I must sell my project
car. It is automatic, 220k miles, black exterior ,has a grey cloth
interior, ski pass-through and bag, and a Kenwood CD head unit with good
speakers.
THE GOOD The car has new front(Bilstein ) and rear (Boge) struts/shocks.
The timing belt, water pump, and tensioner were replaced when I
purchased the car @ around 210,000. The engine runs strong, and the
automatic transmission seems to shift fine through all gears. The only
rust I have found is in the trunk where the jack is kept. A small
pencil-eraser sized hole is in the center of the jackwell. The transfer
case and transmission were replaced with younger units to cure an
abnormal sound. The paint is in fair condition. It was repainted before
being sold to the dealer in OH. The ellipsoid headlights are in great
condition. No warning or indicator lights are lit. The AC blows cold.
The CD player works fine, and I replaced the front speakers with Sony
Xplod models. The rear speakers are Blaupunkt models, I believe. I have
a recent CarFax that is available on request.

THE BAD The abnormal sound (stretched chain) is still there. I was
foolish enough to pay good money for a used part. My loss. The car
drives fine, but under hard braking or cornering, the chain can be heard
rubbing on the case. The paint shows signs of hasty spray. Most of the
car is beautiful with a good wash and wax, but the hood shows a little
hazing as does the trunklid. There is also a crack that has erupted on
the driver's rear fender trim piece. There is some sort of loose
connection in the fusebox on the ECU fuse which requires a fuse to be
inserted between two adjacent fuses to keep a constant connection. The
rear windows do not work, but did when I bought the car. Pressing the
switches yields a barely audible click in the window motors but "no go."
The sunroof went through a failed attempt at a crank-to-electrical
mechanism conversion. It is now back to crank, and works fine. The tires
need to be replaced. The wheels will also need replacement. The wheels
are discontinued Panther's, and one is bent (beyond repair??). I KNOW OF
A SET OF 4 ORIGINAL 15" BASKETWEAVES locally, but I cannot buy and add
those to the sale. I can pass on numbers and email addies if needed. The
car drives fine below 50mph, but above that the bent wheel makes itself
known. The interior shows signs of wear. The buckets are slashed pretty
badly, but a seat cover (like I used) would cover that up. Photos and
CarFax are available. Just email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
for more info. The car has to move soon. I am located in southern,
middle Tennessee. Thank you for your interest. ($3000/BEST OFFER)

15x7 Borbet type T wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin snow tires. tires have
about 50% life left. Wheels are in very good shape with a couple scratches (No
pot-holes, just a touch of a curb or two). Simple, 5 spoke design is very easy
to clean. Will fit all non-M E36s.

$350 plus shipping if needed. located in Washington DC area.
