How does it drive? Did you guys put in a different diff to exploit the torque
of the turbo diesel?

The car is now fitted with a 2.79 final drive. When the customer feels
like spending the money to convert it to a type 188 final drive, we will
change that to 2.56.

Are the NGK BKR6EQUP's appropriate for the supercharged M3 or do I need a
cooler plug?

Thanks,

In the past Active Autowerke has told me factory spec plugs are fine for
supercharging as the boost is not that high.

I use Bosch FGR8KQC, double platinum. Previously I had in there Bosch
platinum plus 4, but I don't know the heat range as I did not install them
originally.

I have read so many posts about positive/negatives of different brands/types
of plugs that my head was spinning. So, I just went with what Active
recommended for my car.

What kind of s/c are you using?

I've witnessed M54s with just Shark programming ping on stock plugs
(the same NGKs), albeit on California gas. And S54s come standard
with NGK 8-range plugs (DCPR8EKP), so I would think a cooler plug
would be warranted, though the best bet would probably be actually
reading the plugs to see what it needs.
